California Privacy Notice

Last updated: May 30, 2026  |  AdIQ

Draft, pending legal-counsel review. Published for transparency while being finalized.

This California Privacy Notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the "CCPA"). It describes the personal information we collect, how we use and disclose it, and the rights you have. Terms like "personal information," "sensitive personal information," "sell," and "share" have the meanings given in the CCPA. This Notice does not apply to information we handle on behalf of our business customers as a service provider, which is governed by our Data Processing Addendum.

Sources: directly from you (forms, checkout, the grader, onboarding), automatically through your use of our website and tools, and from service providers and advertising or analytics partners.

2. How We Use Personal Information

To provide and bill the Services, build and manage your marketing, communicate with you (including transactional SMS you opt into), verify identity, prevent fraud and abuse, measure and improve our website and marketing, and comply with law. We do not use personal information for purposes incompatible with those disclosed without notice.

3. Disclosure for Business Purposes

We disclose personal information to service providers and contractors who process it on our behalf under contracts that limit their use (for example hosting, payment processing, SMS delivery, analytics, and support). See our Subprocessors list.

4. "Sale" and "Sharing" of Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, like many websites, we use advertising and analytics cookies and pixels (for example Google and Meta) that may constitute "sharing" of identifiers and internet-activity information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA. In the past 12 months, the categories that may be "shared" for this purpose are identifiers and internet/network activity. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. You can opt out at any time.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We also honor opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC), as a valid request to opt out of sale/sharing for the browser or device that sends the signal.

5. Sensitive Personal Information

We collect a limited amount of sensitive personal information, such as account log-in credentials, only to provide the Services and for security. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes beyond those permitted by the CCPA, so a separate "limit the use of my sensitive personal information" right is generally not triggered. If that changes, we will provide the required limit-use link.

6. Retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described, to comply with legal, tax, and accounting requirements, to resolve disputes, and to enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and are described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Your California Rights

8. How to Submit a Request

Submit a request by email to legal [at] adiq.com, by calling our toll-free line at (888) 402-2347, or through the Do Not Sell or Share page for opt-out requests. We will verify your identity using information associated with your account before fulfilling a know, delete, or correct request. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization. We respond within the timeframes required by the CCPA (generally 45 days, extendable once).

9. Shine the Light

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 lets California residents request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing. You may direct Shine the Light requests to legal [at] adiq.com.

10. Minors

Our Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect, sell, or share their personal information.
